Feathers, Petals, and Angels. Remember to love yourself too
Local Artist Missy Isely-Poltrock creates stunning angelic forms that breathe lightness.
This exhibit will be on display at Mandala Yoga Racine from January 14, 2026 through the end of February. Our gallery is open during our scheduled class times.
About the Artist
I am a collage/assemblage and then some artist. This show features lots of angels and celebrates nature. My Angels are more abstract and not as I “see” them, but rather how I perceive them. They form themselves and share several different messages depending on the day. They want us to be kinder to ourselves, to speak our “peace”, to be seen (same for the “Big Eyed Dove” painting). They are reminders that tranquility exists on the inside, and when we watch and breathe outside. There is some angel in each of us. Truth. We forget. I strive to remind people, and I believe in collective healing, meaning that any healing any of us does helps to heal the whole.
Art is my sanity, sanctuary, strength, and if I’m really lucky it speaks to someone else too.
You can find me at Lemon Street Gallery in Kenosha as a member and gallery associate. I’m also a SoulCollage® facilitator at the Siena Retreat Center in Racine. Catch more of my work online:
